Crime Report: Assault Arrests, Thefts from Cars

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

 

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction

  • Money was reported stolen from an unlocked 2007 gray Chevy Pickup parked at One Smoke Shop on 4007 Merrick, Rd., Seaford on Jan. 19.
  • A 2007 blue Honda parked on Wantagh Avenue was discovered to have a broken window with a wallet stolen on Jan. 20.
  • On Jan. 21, Nicholas A Yetkofsky, 31, of Wantagh was arrested on Clark Street in Seaford and charged with driving while Intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
  • On Jan. 22, William Clark, 20, of Glen Head was arrested at Mulcahy’s Pub & Concert Hall on 3232 Railroad Avenue, Wantagh and charged with third-degree assault and third-degree criminal trespass.
  • On Jan. 23, Elizabeth Resnick, 48, of Bellmore was arrested at the Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh Precinct headquarters in Seaford and charged with leaving Incident without a report.
  • On Jan. 23, Jason E Davis, 37, of Lindenhurst was arrested at the Nassau County Police Department’s Seventh Precinct headquarters in Seaford and charged with third-degree assault.
