Crime Report: Stolen Jewelry Incidents, DWI Arrest

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

  • A woman on Miami Street in Seaford reported discovering assorted jewelry missing from her residence on Aug. 25.
  • On Nov. 30, Robert D Moschella, 21, of Massapequa was arrested at the Nassau County Police Department headquarters in Seaford and charged with third-degree assault. 
  • Assorted jewelry was reported stolen from a house on Marinor Street in Seaford between Nov. 30-Dec. 2 
  • A woman on Dock Lane in Wantagh reported discovering missing jewelry at her residence on Dec. 3. 
  • Personal papers and a laptop were reported stolen from a 2001 silver Subaru parked on Lakeview Road in Wantagh on Dec. 8. 
  • Copper tubing was reported stolen from an exterior oil tank in an abandoned building on Washington Avenue in Seaford between Dec. 8-9. 
  • On Dec. 9, Jeramy G Reiderer, 19, of Seaford was arrested on Spruce Street near Merrick Road in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation. 
  • An item described as paint thinner was poured on the hood and driver side of a 2007 white Volkswagen parked in a driveway on Smith Lane in Seaford on Dec. 10.
