Duo Arrested for October Burglary in Wantagh

Two West Babylon residents arrested after allegedly using stolen credit card.

Two West Babylon residents were arrested Saturday morning after allegedly burlgarizing a Wantagh home back in October.

According to Nassau County detectives, on Oct. 23, a 76-year-old woman discovered a window in her Pine Street home had been forced open. Shortly after, the woman noticed that cash and credit cards were missing from the home.

Frank Corsetti Jr., 35, and Lorraine Cianciulli, 38, were arrested around 11:15 a.m. Saturday in connection with the burglary after using one of the victim’s cards in Suffolk County, police said. The duo allegedly charged more than $300 to the card.

Corsetti Jr. and Cianciulli are charged with forgery in the second degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and identity theft in the second degree.

Additionally Corsetti is charged with burglary in the second degree, as well as second counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and identity theft in the second degree.

The defendants will be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
