Marla Lewis shares in the Best Children's Album category at the 54th Grammy Awards for song she wrote called "Leap of Faith."

Wantagh resident Marla Lewis is now at the top of the music world after finding out Sunday night she was sharing a Grammy Award.

The local singer/songwriter shared in the Best Children’s Album category at the 54th Grammy Awards for the compilation “About Bullies...Big and Small." She wrote the song "Leap of Faith," which is one of 37 tracks on the album. All money generated from the CD is going toward Pacer Center’s Bullying Prevention Website

“We are all thrilled, not only for the win, but because bullying is much too prevalent in these times,” said Lewis, who has lived in Wantagh for the past 12 years.
