Wantagh Woman Among Cast of Oxygen's Bad Girls Club

Jenna Russo joined the cast for season eight of the reality show in Las Vegas.

Oxygen's reality series Bad Girls Club kicked off Jan. 23 in Las Vegas with its usual partying and drama, this time featuring a Wantagh resident.

Jenna Russo, a 24-year old Wantagh woman who prides herself in always having an amazing time, joined six others in Sin City last year for the show's eighth season.

According to a blog post from Jan. 23 on Oxygen's website, Russo's expectations heading in to the experience were "jaded" from the show's reputation.

"I expected a bunch of girls who just want to start issues to seem like the quintessential 'baddest' person," Russo wrote. "I wasn't interested in having anything to do with that. I came on the show for a vacation and a nice break from the hectic real world and work."

A feud quickly developed between Russo and fellow cast-mate Gia Sapp-Hernandez in the season premiere.

"I don't want to fight, nor do I ever get into fights in real life," Russo continued on her blog post. "I tried to tell the girls that it was the first night and everyone shouldn't fight already. Then Gia said some nasty comments to me and that set me off. Mix that scenario with A LOT of alcohol and it's a recipe for a nonsensical disaster."

In another blog post titled "I'm a Bad Girl Because... " from Jan. 19, Russo responded: "I will be myself through and through regardless. I always speak my mind. I am the No. 1 party girl. I bring the fun no matter where I am and what I'm doing."

Besides being the number one party girl, Russo's Twitter page describes her as an animal lover and an environmental enthusiast.

Russo can be seen in the next episode of Bad Girl's Club this Monday evening at 9 p.m. on Oxygen (channel 81 on Cablevision).
