The Amityville Kiwanis Club is holding their annual Craft &amp; Antique Fair on May 4th with a rain date of May 11th. 10:00am - 4:00pm Over 90 vendors selling handmade&nbsp;crafts, delicious sweets, vintage antiques. Come shop for Mother's Day and stay for lunch. St. Paul's Lutheran Church will be selling food from the concession stand along with a variety of food trucks and snack vendors.&nbsp;The Village police and fire departments will have trucks and cars&nbsp;there for the kids to touch. Plus beautiful raffle baskets to take a chance on. All monies raised goes back into the Kiwanis Community account. Come have fun and support the Amityville community!

The Midnight Vigil and Divine Liturgy for Orthodox Easter will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 11:15 PM at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 369 Green Avenue, East Meadow. The service will be conducted in English. A festive Paschal meal will follow the service. Marjorie R. Post Community Park

The Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC) will host its Annual Memory Walk and Spring Festival at Marjorie R. Post Community Park, 451 Unqua Road, Massapequa, NY on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The walk will begin with registration at 8:30 am, a light breakfast, and the opening ceremony. The Memory Walk and Spring Festival is being held on May the Fourth and will have activities celebrating Star Wars as well as a Living Memory Tree to honor loved ones, Live music, photos, food, beverages, outdoor games, and more! In addition, many other community organizations are joining us and will be sharing resources with participants. This is an event you do not want to miss.
Each year, the Memory Walk serves to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia, honor and remember those impacted by the disease, and raise funds for ADRC to continue to provide support and services to families on Long Island. All funds raised stay on Long Island and are put right back into serving local families impacted by the disease.
The cost for the day is $30 per person to participate, Children 12 and under are FREE. Consider creating a Team and having friends and colleagues join you in raising funds and awareness. All participants will receive free goodies, breakfast, lunch, and Live Music Entertainment. Plus, we plan to have Stormtroopers join us. Participants that raise $100 or more will also receive a commemorative T-shirt.
