Seaford Relay For Life Event Set for Saturday; Share Your Experiences

Beloved American Cancer Society fundraiser will kick off at 5 p.m. at Seaford High School.

This weekend, scores of cancer survivors and local volunteers will sport purple and white t-shirts and walk for hours around a track to raise money for cancer research in one of the most iconic fundraisers in the country.

The American Cancer Society will hold its local Relay for Life event at Seaford High School in Seaford on Saturday, June 8 at 5 p.m. Click here for more details.

So far, 21 teams and 172 participants have raised $22,257.74. The top team, Team Hope has raised $9,250. The top participant is Jenna Rosenberg, who has raised $3,020.

Relay For Life events happen in thousands of places across the country, and feature an overnight relay that both raises money for the cause and honors local cancer survivors.
