Sweet 16v Blood Drive!

Jessy Davidson, a student at MacArthur HS, will be holding a Sweet Sixteen blood drive on August 17 from 10-4 at Runner's Edge, 242 Main Street, Farmingdale. She is  hoping to earn a small college scholarship through the New York Blood Center Bloodstock® Scholarship Program. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood and more than 44,000 blood donations are needed every day. Summer is the time of year when supplies are low and donations are most needed because a large portion of them come from school sponsored events. Every donation counts when it comes to saving lives. Thank you! Appointments are available every 15 minutes from 10am -3:45pm.
