While the ocean brings people from all over the place, many local residents walk the park's boardwalk for health reasons. Stretching from Field 6 all the way to the West Bathhouse, mile markers let you know how many miles you have walked.

While all fields open as early as 6 a.m., Field 4 is the only one open until midnight. Whether you like walking in the morning before sunrise or walking after sunset, Jones Beach is the perfect location.
