#81: Go Kayaking at Jones Beach State Park

Jones Beach is not just for swimming in the ocean.

Being a Long Island resident, beaches are part of our everyday lives. Catching waves or catching rays becomes a weekly routine when the weather improves from the harsh, cold winter.

One of the few known things to do at Jones Beach is kayaking. Field 10, also known as the "Fishing Pier" or "Storehouse" harbors a kayak path, where you can carry your kayak into the water and start to paddle away.

Whether you have an inflatable kayak or a plastic one, a one person or a two person, or a rental, set out for an enjoyable day in the sun and the waves.
