Boards Recap: National Champions, Kicking Cancer Car Wash
It was a busy week on Wantagh-Seaford and Levittown Patch, and your neighbors shared a number of stories pertaining to the local community.

- Six Wantaghites Win National Championship: Grace Beshlian, Kaitlyn Cerasi, Olivia Conti, Kelli Schmidt, Nikki Sliwak and Darcie Smith recently traveled to Florida with their club lacrosse team-the Long Island Top Guns-where they won the USA U15 National Championship.
- Jack's Second Annual Kicking Cancer Car Wash: Jack Egan is having his second annual KICKING CANCER CAR WASH. Come get your car washed and help raise money for the American Cancer Society.
- Community Meeting Aug. 13 on AHRC Group Home: A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th to discuss next steps regarding the proposed AHRC Group Home at 3005 Johnson Place, Wantagh.
- Guest Bartending for a Cure: I will be guest bartending at the Harp n Hammer on Gardiner's Ave. in Levittown on Saturday, August 10 beginning at 9 p.m.
- Please Help Return Jester Home to Her Owner: Jester is a 14 month old Bearded Collie who was left in the temporary care of someone who may live in this area.
- Beatles Tribute Highlights: Here are some highlights from the Beatles Tribute Mystery Tour concert at the Wantagh Historical Museum on Sunday.
- Beware of the Sunoco/Bolla Station: I would like to share with you all what happened to me at the Sunoco on the corner of Hempstead Tpke and Newbridge Rd.
