The weekend is finally approaching, and Wantagh-Seaford Patch has found plenty for our readers to do. Whether you are looking for acoustic music, a night at Mulcahy's or a sneak peak at a nearby university, Wantagh-Seaford Patch has found something for you.

Temple B'nai Torah in Wantagh is offering a brand new Community Tot Shabbat. The event is aimed towards children, with songs, dance and games, but families of all ages and sizes are welcome.

Gather the whole family and head to Seaford High School to support your local Vikings! The team will host North Shore High School under the lights.

Steve Scouten, who has become a regular performer at The Cup Coffee House in Wantagh, will take the stage this Friday night for The Cup's Acoustic Weekend nights. Enjoy coffee or a sandwich, eclectic art and more at Wantagh's favorite coffee shop.

Mulcahy's, home to one of Long Island's hottest Saturday night dance parties, presents a special Southbar Saturday with famed actor and television host Mario Lopez. Drink specials and live D.J.'s all night.

When: Sunday, April 10; 9 a.m.
Where: Hofstra University
Pricing: Free

High school juniors and their families are invited to get an early start in their search for the right college at Hofstra University this Sunday. The spring open house begins at 9 a.m. at the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center and will continue on to tour the campus and discuss academic departments, college selection, paying for college and residential campus life.
