Veterans Day Ceremonies Held in Wantagh-Seaford

Wantagh and Seaford American Legions salute Americans who served their country in war.

The Wantagh American Legion Post No. 1273 and Seaford American Legion Post 1132 both held Veterans Day ceremonies Sunday in honor of Americans who served their country in war.

The Wantagh service was held indoors of Wantagh American Legion Hall on Park Avenue while the Seaford ceremony was conducted on the front lawn of the Edwin Welch Jr. Post on Penatiquit Ave. Hempstead Town Clerk Mark Bonilla attended both ceremonies and presented "Office of the Town Clerk” citations to Seaford American Legion Post 1132 Commander Bill Harms and Wantagh American Legion Post 1272 Commander John Menechino.
