Wantagh Seaford Week in Review

A look back at the top stories of the week.

This week saw a baby born under unusual circumstances, a crime foiled by a quick thinking victim and the remembrance of a day we'd like to forget.

Here's a look back:

A Florida man was arrested this week for public lewdness after a victim in North Massapequa snapped a photo of the suspect. Police are still investigating if he was reponsible for an similar incident in Seaford.

A baby boy was born in Wantagh sooner than expected this week, Fire Department members and police had to make the delivery.

Also in its infancy is the 2013 football season, as Wantagh got off to an impressive stary.

The 2013 race for Nassau County Executive moved into sharper focus as Tom Suozzi won the Democratic primary and an opportunity to face Republican incumbent Ed Mangano.

Finally, the area marked the twelfth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks with services and memorials, including the annual memorial in Seaford.
