Wantagh Senior Center's Shuffleboard Team Captures Championship
Team awarded Town of Hempstead citation after winning title.
The Wantagh Senior Center's Shuffleboard Team recenty captured the 2010 Town of Hempstead Shuffleboard championship.
The team was coached by Joe Russo and captained by Faith deRoeck. After capturing the title the team was presented a an official Town of Hempstead Citation by Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilwoman Angie M. Cullin, R-Freeport.
