Wantagh-Seaford Patch Week in Review

A look back at the top stories of the week.

It was a wild week as Seaford said "Yes to the Dress," while Washington said no to government.

Here's a look back the top stories:

A Seaford bride made a national television appearance on TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress."

A Seaford man was arrested in a $3.8 million marijuana bust in Riverhead, police said.

Wantagh started full day Kindergarten last month, but made it official with a ribbon cutting.

Legislator David Denenberg, D-Merrick,  held a press conference at the home of a family displaced by Superstorm Sandy to call on the state to disperse funds faster.

Finally, the Government shut down early Tuesday, with Rep. Peter King, being one of five Republicans to vote against a final hour spending measure.
