It was a busy week in Wantagh-Seaford.

In case you missed some of the big stories on Wantagh-Seaford Patch, here's a look at the big stories we had this week.

  1. Wantagh Woman to Compete in Mrs. New York Pageant: A Wantagh Woman, who was recently selected as Mrs. Wantagh, will get the shot to compete in the Mrs. New York Pageant in October, she told Patch.
  2. LIRR Reps: Changes Coming at Wantagh, Seaford Train Stations: Legis. David Denenberg, D-Merrick, held a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) forum at Merrick Public Library on Monday, in which LIRR reps spoke of upcoming projects at Bellmore, Merrick, Seaford and Wantagh train stations.
  3. Seaford Man Inducted into Softball Hall of Fame: Sal Frosina, 75, of Seaford was inducted into the Long Island Senior Softball Association(LISSA) Hall of Fame in a ceremony sponsored by the Bristal Assisted Living communities. 
  4. Traveling Bears Awareness Program Visits Wantagh: On Saturday, the Brotherhood of Temple B’nai Torah welcomed the Traveling Bears Awareness Program that support children with disabilities.
  5. Report: Pathmark for Sale: Attention Pathmark shoppers: your local supermarket may soon be sold.
