It was a busy week in Wantagh-Seaford.

  1. Police Seeking Mill Pond Murder Suspect: Nassau cops are seeking the community's help in identifying those responsible for the murder of a 27-year-old Roosevelt man at Mill Pond Park last Sunday.
  2. Cops: Jones Beach Lifeguards Busted for Drug Possession: Three lifeguards were arrested for drug possession Tuesday at Jones Beach State Park, according to New York State Parks Police.
  3. Six Wantaghites Win National Championship: The team recently traveled to Florida with their club lacrosse team-the Long Island Top Guns-where they won the USA U15 National Championship.
  4. Police: Seaford Woman Left Scene of Crash: Monica Hartman, 23, of Seaford, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, after police said she was involved in an accident on Montauk Highway in East Quogue on Aug. 4 at about 8 p.m.
