Here's a look at what's open and closed in the Massapequas:
Government Offices: Most Government offices will be closed including all offices in the Town of Hempstead. Hempstead Town Hall and senior centers are also closed in observance of the holiday. The Homeowner Disposal Area in Merrick will be closed.Schools: Wantagh and Seaford Public Schools will be closed Monday.
Sanitation: There will be no sanitation pickup on Monday. Those who normally receive pickup on Monday will receive it on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
Post Office: Most Post Offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery on Monday.
