The October monthly meeting of the Wantagh Preservation Society, originally scheduled for the Community Room at the Wantagh Public Library will instead be held in Room 112 of the Wantagh High School.
After a brief business meeting the featured program, Early Movie Stars Who Lived in Freeport, will be presented by our guest lecturer, Cynthia Kreig from the Freeport Historical Society.
The meeting is free and open to the general public.

Wantagh High School is located 1/4 mile west of Wantagh Avenue, on Beltagh Avenue, which is one traffic light south of Jerusalem Avenue, or two traffic lights north of Park Avenue (where the Library is located).
