Rhode Island-based indie band headlined benefit concert for the Tommy Brull Foundation.

Supporters of the Rockville Centre-based Tommy Brull Foundation and Camp Anchor in Lido Beach got a special treat earlier this month during the Shine A Light benefit concert at Wantagh's when the popular indie folk band Deer Tick took the stage.

Deer Tick, which was formed out of Providence, R.I. in December 2004, performed a two and a half hour set at the fundraiser hosted by the Tommy Brull Foundation for Camp Anchor, which is a year-round facility dedicated to people with special needs ages 5-60.
