After completing its successful NYC theater debut, “The Prodigal Daughter”, the dramatic musical presentation written and composed by Broadway and opera singer, as well as a Seaford resident, Doreen Firestone, will be returning to Resurrection in Garden City on Sept. 21.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the auditorium of the church.
This unique depiction of a woman’s struggle to heal her past, combines uplifting scripture with hilarious moments in the prodigal daughter’s life.
""It touches people in a way that’s hard to describe," Firestone said. "People are really excited about it."
“The Prodigal Daughter” presentation will be followed by Patti Dahl and Heartsong. Refreshments will be available during the intermission. Tickets are $10 each, two for $15 and children under 12 will be admitted free with an adult.
A free will offering will be taken to support the musician’s ministries. For reservations, contact Lori McDonald at email@example.com.
