Stevie Nicks to Headline at Jones Beach Friday

Marc Cohn will open for the rock and roll icon at Wantagh venue.

After her work with Fleetwood Mac ended nearly three decades ago, singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks embarked on a skyrocketing solo career that still tops the charts today.

Nicks will hit the stage Friday at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh following famed folk rocker Marc Cohn. Between her time with the British-American rock band and her solo career, Nicks has sold more than 140 million albums and created more than 40 Top 50 hits. Nicks closed out last year's Nikon at Jones Beach Theater summer schedule.

Still producing hits today, Nicks' seventh studio album, "In Your Dreams," was released in May 2011 and sold more than 50,000 copies in its first week. Her first studio album since 2001's "Trouble in Shangri-La." "In Your Dreams" also commemorated the 30th anniversary of Nicks' debut record "Bella Donna."

Nicks' current tour is still celebrating "In Your Dreams." Fans can expect to hear a mix of hits from both Fleetwood Mac and Nicks' solo work.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Friday and Cohn is set to open at 8 p.m. The concert is scheduled for rain or shine. For further information regarding tickets and venue regulations, click here.
