Last Minute Meal Options in the Area
With one day to go before the holiday, mot catering orders have closed off, but you can still pick up some items.
Sometimes Thanksgiving turns into a last minute scramble, but there's still some time to throw together a first class dinner.
Most area caterers require at least 48 hours notice, so it's difficult to pick up a fully catered meal, but you still able to pickup some individual items.
Iavarone Brothers located at 1166 Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh, has turkey dishes available in their deli department along with a wide variety of side dishes, cheeses, pastas and baked goods.
They will also be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Also open on Thanksgiving will be the Pathmark at 942 Carmans Road in Massapequa will also be open on Thanksgiving. They've filled their catering orders, but have plenty of side dishes.
Pathmark will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thanksgiving.
