Lowest Gas Prices in Wantagh-Seaford Area- Jan. 2

GasBuddy.com shows area residents where to fill up their tanks for less.

People are always on the look out for stations they can fill up their vehicles at the lowest prices.

Here is a look at the cheapest gas offered in the Wantagh-Seaford area as of Monday afternoon, according to GasBuddy.com.

Regular: The BP station at 975 Hicksville Rd. currently offers the cheapest regular grade for $3.69 a gallon. Coming in second is Shell on 3365 Jerusalem Ave. in Wantagh for $3.73.

Premium: The cheapest premium gas can be found at Mobil on 892 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh and Shell on 3365 Jerusalem Ave., Wantagh for $4.19 a gallon each.

The national average for regular gas is currently $3.27, while the Long Island average is $3.72.
