Seaford Chamber of Commerce to Host Free Open House

Networking event for Seaford business community scheduled for Thursday evening.

The is hosting a free open house Thursday evening in an attempt to boost membership and provide a network opportunity for the local business community.

The free networking event is scheduled Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the on 2170 Southard Ave. Members of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to answer questions and free food and beverages will be provided. Membership in the Seaford Chamber of Commerce is not required to attend.

“The reason of the open house is to create more awareness within the business community of what the Seaford Chamber is about and what we do in the community,” said Seaford Chamber of Commerce president Ken Jacobsen. “We’re trying to build up our membership and also get more exposure within the community.”

The guest speaker at the open house will be Hempstead Town Clerk Mark Bonilla, a former Seaford resident.
