Wantagh Red Mango Holding Grand Opening Event

New frozen yogurt store on 3434 Sunrise Hwy. to offer giveaways on Saturday.

The newly opened Red Mango in Wantagh is holding an all-day grand opening celebration this Saturday.

The national frozen yogurt franchise set up shop in a new shopping center at the former Nassau OTB property off Sunrise Highway on Oct. 4. Attendees at the Nov. 17 grand opening event will be treated to a free small yogurt with their choice of toppings and other great giveaways while supplies last.  There will also be a special appearance from Dan Kim, Red Mango’s founder and chief concept officer, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to expand Red Mango on Long Island with a store in Wantagh,” said store owners Gary Marcus and Stuart Chin. “Whether it’s a smoothie or frozen yogurt, Wantagh residents will be able to experience our unique flavor combinations and know that they are getting fresh, healthy options that are fun and delicious.”  

The hours of operation for the Wantagh Red Mango is Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. as well as Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Dallas-based Red Mango specializes in natural low calorie frozen yogurt and smoothies.
