Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) is presenting a forum with MTA Long Island Railroad (LIRR) representatives at Seaford Library (2234 Jackson Avenue, Seaford) on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. regarding the Bellmore, Merrick, Freeport, Seaford and Wantagh train stations. Although the LIRR is a state – not a county – authority, Legis. Denenberg periodically provides these forums to address issues raised by commuters. Personnel from the MTA LIRR will be Legis. Denenberg’s special guest speakers to discuss the stations, service and the LIRR’s responses to past requests made by Legis. Denenberg and commuters, and to respond to questions.
