Aug. 31: Zumba Fundraiser, Lobster Special, Open Mic Night

1. The beautiful weather that has been in place since the end of Hurricane-turned Tropical Storm Irene will continue Wednesday with sunny skies and a high temperature near 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Save Seaford Sports, an organization dedicated to raising the $141,000 needed to restore the Seaford Middle School winter and spring athletic teams after they were cut from the budget., is holding a zumba class fundraiser tonight at Nancy's Dance Factory in Levittown starting at 7 p.m.

3. The Levittown Public Library will be holding an end of summer adult reading program party  this evening at 7 p.m. featuring  light refreshments and a prize drawing

4. The Cup Coffee House in Wantagh will hold an open mic night from 9 p.m. to midnight.

5.Miller's Ale House in Levittown is offering a lobster special today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. During these hours, customers can purchase a 1 1/4  Whole Maine Lobster for only $12.95 with a choice of one side.
