Get Out: Weekend Guide to Wantagh-Seaford Feb. 18-20

Patch has found our readers plenty to do this weekend.

The weekend is finally approaching, and in spite of the gloomy weather, the Wantagh-Seaford area has plenty to offer this weekend! Whether you are looking for happy hour, a meet and greet with Nickelodeon favorites, a Saturday night dance party or live music for a great cause, Wantagh-Seaford Patch has found something for you.

With one of the best Happy Hours on Long Island, Mulcahy's never disappoints on Friday's! Unwind after work with 2-for-1 beers and mixed drinks and a free dinner buffet. Appetizers are also being sold for $4 and burgers and sandwiches are available for  $8.

Mulcahy's brings one of the best Saturday night parties on Long Island right to Wantagh. DJ Mikey C will be spinning dance hits all night, and drink specials include $2.50 Bud Light cans and $2.50 mixed rail drinks until 10 p.m., and $3.50 Bud Light bottles and mixed rail drinks until close.

United Skates of America Roller Skating will host a Nickelodeon Breakfast Sunday morning where kids can meet Dora the Explorer, Spongebob, Patrick and Diego while enjoying bacon and eggs, pancakes, cereal and bagels. Children two-years and younger enter for free.

Hemingway's American Bar and Grill features one of the best Sunday brunches in the area. Enjoy a buffet of omelets, waffles, pastries, desserts, fresh fruit, pasta, chicken and unlimited shrimp. Sangria Sunday's also offers diners $3 sangria, bloody mary's and mimosas.

5. Rockin' for Autism at Pub and Concert Hall

When: Sunday, Feb. 20; 3 - 8 p.m.
Where: 3232 Railroad Ave., Wantagh
Pricing: $25 donation

Mulcahy's and the Developmental Disabilities Institute of Long Island are teaming up to host Rockin' for Autism for the fourth consecutive year. The event's proceeds will benefit the Smithtown-based foundation, which treats patients with autism from all over Long Island. Live music will be played throughout the day by great cover bands, and the door donation includes a free buffet.
