Jan. 26: Winter Storm, Civic Group Meeting, New Patch Feature

What's happening in and around Wantagh and Seaford.

1. Snow showers are expected to hit the Wantagh-Seaford area at around 9 a.m. The snow is expected to change over to rain in the early afternoon and stay that way until about 10 p.m. before changing back over to snow that could last until mid Thursday morning. Be careful out there when traveling during the winter storm.

2. The Wantagh/Seaford Homeowner's Association has a meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Seaford Public Library Community Room. To find out if the meeting is going to be canceled due to the winter storm check for updates on the civic group's facebook page.

3. This coming Tuesday we will be launching a new feature called "100 Things To Do in Wantagh-Seaford." Read about this new feature and feel free to e-mail any ideas to andrewc@patch.com.
