Even as power is slowly being restored to communities across Long Island, a new crisis is emerging: gas stations are running out of fuel.
"Many of the Island’s 6,000 gas stations overrun by drivers searching to fill their tanks are having trouble being refueled, as three of the area’s main terminals have lost power in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and can’t supply tanker trucks waiting to deliver gas to retailers," reports Long Island Business News.
If you Tweet a location with or without gas, use #LIhasgas.
Patch wants to help. If you know of a gas station in your neighborhood that is open for business, please post it in the comments. This article is posted across all our Nassau County sites, so please make sure you include the full address, including the town. If you know of a station that is out of fuel, please share that as well.

Sunoco on the corner of Broadway and Jerusalem Avenue in North massapequa was charging $4.63 on Sunday for reg. This guy made a huge mistake. Everybody else at the time was charging below $4.00. Not in my neighborhood... he will eventually be booted out of here
