March 28: Animal Shelter Vigil Video, Wantagh Girls Lacrosse Preview

1. The cold weather that has been around the last week will continue today with the National Weather Service forecasting sunny skies and high temperature of only 41 degrees in the Wantagh-Seaford area.

2. Check back later this morning on Wantagh-Seaford Patch for a video of a vigil held at the  in Wantagh Friday night to memorialize animals that have been euthanized at the facility.

3. In case you missed it, here is a sports preview that ran yesterday of the  girls lacrosse team, which has high expectations for a big season in 2011. 

4. A  on how body composition affects one's health is taking place at Wantagh Woods Chiropractic on 1705 Wantagh Ave. tonight from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. A free body composition analysis will also be officered to all who attend.

5. Wantagh High School graduate Brandon Mangan was a hero over the weekend when he scored the game-winning goal for the Yale men's lacrosse team in its 8-7 overtime win at Ivy League rival Princeton this past Saturday.
