Massapequa West Nile Spraying Postponed Due to Threatening Weather

County reschedules spraying for Tuesday.

West Nile spraying to start at 7 p.m. Thursday near the Massapequa-Seaford border has been postponed due to threatening weather, Nassau County Health officials announced.

The spraying was set to cover an area bounded by Jerusalem Avenue on the north, Merrick Road on the south, Cartwright Boulevard on the east and Hicksville Road on the west.

The spraying has been rescheduled to Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
