What's happening in and around Wantagh and Seaford.
1. Friday will be party sunny in the Wantagh-Seaford area with a high temperature near 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
2. The Wantagh and Seaford softball teams begin their playoff pushes with first round games this afternoon. Third-seeded Seaford hosts Valley Stream North at 4:30 p.m. Tenth-seeded Wantagh is at Sewanhaka at 4:30 p.m.
3.The boys lacrosse team is at home to face Carey starting at 4:30 p.m.
