Nov. 29: Mild Weather, Flag Football Tribute Video, Pizza for Charity

Your daily guide to what's happening in Wantagh, Levittown and Seaford.

1. The mild weather Nassau County experienced yesterday is expected to continue today with a high temperature near 65 degrees under mostly cloudy skies for much of the day, according to the National Weather Service. After 4 p.m. there is a 60 percent chance of rain showers.

2. In case you missed it, yesterday we ran a video on a flag football tournament held at MacArthur High School in memory of Wantagh native Richard Bailey, who was murdered while attending college in Albany three years ago. To view the video, click here.

3. Today is Gardiners Avenue Pizza Night at Angelina Pizza in Levittown. Ten percent of every dollar spent at Angelina Pizza between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. will be donated to the Gardiners Avenue Elementary School fifth grade.

4. Another reminder: the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter is allowing residents to donate animals for free as part of their "Home for the Holidays" program. For more information, click here.

5. Train for the Game on 545 Bedford Ave., Bellmore will be hosting a fat burning fitness class this evening at 7 p.m.
