2. 2449 Riverside Dr. – Sold for $560,000 on July 19.

3. 3390 Manchester Rd.- Sold for $498,000 on Aug. 12.

4. 3201 Waterbury Dr. – Sold for $463,000 on Oct. 5.

5. 1841 Cornelius Ave- Sold for $456,000 on Aug. 1.


1. 3790 Hollis Ln.- Sold for $465,000 on Aug. 14.

2. 4036 Burke CT- Sold for $430,000 on Sept. 6.

3. 1645 Pinewood Rd.- Sold for $420,000 on Aug. 15.

4. 2635 Bryant Dr.- Sold for $415,000 on Sept. 12.

5. 3559 Bayview St.- Sold for $405,000 on Aug. 14.

not sure how this list was compiled, but these are not the top five home sales, at least in Seaford, I haven't checked Wantagh yet. Here are the top 5 sale prices in the 2nd half of 2012 for Seaford: 1.) 4079 Darby Lane, Sold for $825,000 on 12/11 2.) 3644 Ocean Ave, Sold for $790,000 on 8/31 3.) 3597 Kenora Pl, Sold for $710,000 on 9/18 4.) 3929 Hickory St, Sold for $663,500 on 10/16 5.) 3931 William St, Sold for $635,000 on 7/13

@Andrew Since you acknowledged the Real Estate topic, I'm wondering why you chose not to acknowledge the "Top 7 Sports Moments of 2012 in Wantagh Seaford" regardless of who compiled that list? It really is an oversight by the Patch not to have recognized a MAJOR accomplishment of a student within our community. Maybe you or one of the staff members can revisit that list.

@Cheap Sam- As I stated before it was no question a major accomplishment along with the other great local athletes who also signed letters of intents at major schools. We have always highlighted this and will continue to in the future. Thank you for following Patch!
