Question of the Day: New Medical School at Hofstra

Sound off on daily hot topic.

In this daily feature, Wantagh-Seaford Patch poses a question to the community. We encourage all readers to take part in contributing.

This is intended to be fun and interactive.

Today's question is: The new Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine began its journey earlier this week with the inaugural class of 40 students arriving on the Hempstead campus for orientation before starting classes this Monday. Hofstra University's new allopathic medical school is the first to open in New York State in 40 years. The 40 students helping to launch the new medical school came from an application pool of more than 4,000.
