On Tuesday area residents will vote in County and town elections. Do they have the impact of national elections?
A year ago we went to the polls and elected a president and members of congress. There will be another congressional election next year.
Those going to the polls on Tuesday will cast ballots to fill offices in Nassau County and local towns.
These office holders are often the first people area residents call when they need help from government. But do these elections attract the attention that national elections get?
