On December 27th, 2012, Tackapausha Museum & Preserve is excited to host the first ever Environmental Anime Night!  We will be showing (3) Japanese Animation films that exhibit dramatic environmental themes.  There will be crafts, food, Cosplay/Costume contest (Come as your favorite character!), cards and gaming, and a Live Wildlife program with Owls, Bats, Opossums, Porcupine, a Red Fox and more!

3:30 - 10:00PM December 27th 2012

Movies being shown in our Theatre -

3:30 - 5:30 - 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind'

6:00 - 8:00 - 'Princess Mononoke'

8:00 - 9:--  - 'Yoshitako Amano & Mamoru Oshii - Angel's Egg' or 'Tenshi no Tamago', one of the first Progresssive animated films produced in Japan - now on the big screen.

These films contain animated violence and strong imagery - They are also thought-provoking and amazing.  Parents use best judgement.
