Apply for or renew your passport.  You must bring your birth certificate (original or certified copy with raised seal), your   previous passport or certificate of naturalization.  In some cases, additional ID may be needed: photo ID, NYS benefit insurance card, school ID, legal documents, etc.  New and renewal     applications are available at the Reference Desk.  For details, call 812-3100.  No registration required.
