Seaford Community Blood Drive

One of Nassau County's largest blood drives will be hosted by the Seaford Lions Club in conjunction with Seaford Harbor Elementary, Seaford Manor Elementary and St. William'sSchool.  All three schools have annually participated in a blood donation poster contest.  The winners of this contest will be presented with certificates at 12pm in the cafeteria of Seaford High School.  Local politicians will be presenting the awards.

Some basic requirements for blood donation are:

1. At least 17 years old (16 with signed parental consent)
2. At least 110 pounds
3. Have not donated blood in the last 56 days

There are other medical conditions (temporary and permanent) that cankeep you from giving blood.  For more information regarding blood donation call  1-800-933-2566 or go to
