Turkey Drive to Benefit Island Harvest

Girl Scouts of Nassau Bellmore Troop to make an on-site donation of canned goods collected through their charitable outreach to Bethpage’s Seaford Branch, in support of the Bethpage Turkey Drive to benefit Island Harvest. 

Bethpage Seaford Branch Manager, Paul Jervis, to accept donations and award each Girl Scout with a Heart of Bethpage Turkey Drive Patch. 

The Bethpage Seaford Branch, as well as all other Bethpage branches, has been accepting canned good donations since November 1 and will continue through end of day, November 16.

Simultaneously, hundreds of other Long Island residents will be dropping off frozen turkeys, non-perishable items, supermarket turkey vouchers and cash in Long Island’s largest food drive, before work, during lunch, all afternoon and evening at Bethpage’s Main Headquarters in Bethpage.

Hundreds of volunteers will be on site to lend a hand collecting food, including area residents, partnering companies, high school students, retirees, Girl Scouts of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

A car drop-off lane to be set up to help facilitate drop-offs.  

Anyone who donates a frozen turkey at Bethpage’s main branch will receive a ticket to a NY Islanders game.
