Seaford Man Takes Home More Than $33K

A July 18 drawing revealed a nice payday for one Seaford resident.

The New York Lottery announced Monday that a Seaford "Take Five" player won $33,207 in a drawing held on July 18.

According to a release, the winner, Andrew Carson, purchased the winning ticket at the Otm Enterprises Inc Gulf Gas at 570 Hicksville Road.

Lottery prizes up to $600 may be cashed at any of the Lottery's 17,000 licensed retailers statewide. Lottery prizes valued at $601 to $999,999 may be claimed at any of the Lottery's stand-alone Customer Service Centers located in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Schenectady, Fishkill, Manhattan and Garden City. Prizes of $1 million or more must be claimed at one of the Lottery's stand-alone offices listed above.

Wow! Think of it...that's almost three (3) year's worth of property taxes, right there! He could retire, and take his time trying to sell his house before moving south, you know, where the property taxes are...sane.

So right! I can't wait to go south and buy a nice home with a swimming pool and pay monthly taxes of $200.........1 year here in Seaford my taxes are $11,000 in the south that would be 5 years worth..It's a no brainer
