Long Island band Face the King releases 4-song EP in anticipation of new album

This summer, Long Island rock band Face the King released a preview EP in anticipation of their upcoming full-length release, “You, Me & The Sound.” While a veteran of the local music scene with a number of shows under its belt (including NYC’s famed Gramercy Theatre), Face the King is still growing and exploring. The upcoming album draws the band into new territory, developing a solid identity and differentiating the band from its modern rock peers.

The recent 4-song EP has been greeted with significant acclaim from fans, and has already received several extremely positive reviews by online music blogs. Face the King’s fans hail from all over the globe, as a quick stop on any of its social media will prove. For the time being, the band is continuing to tour New York and the tri-state area, and is in discussions with several companies who are interested in sponsoring a full United States tour. If the fans have their way, Face the King will be traveling the world next – and they couldn’t be more appreciative of the support.

“The biggest challenge for any band is finding the right backing, people who genuinely believe in the art that we create and the message we want to convey. We have an incredibly loyal fan-base backing us…they have been so supportive and receptive to our music and message, which is an incredible gift in itself,” says Dan DelVecchio, Face the King’s guitarist.
