DIY Olympic Nails

How to create Olympic-worthy nails at home.

Show your support for Team USA with these Olympic-worthy nails you can DIY at home.

NYC-based celebrity manicurist, Julie Kandalec says they are super easy to do:

"For an easy DIY of shapes like the stars, look for small nail charms on Ebay or www.dollarnailart.com," she explains. "Polish them any color on top of a piece of waxed paper, let dry, then bend with a pair of tweezers to fit the curve of the nail. Apply with an orangewood stick and top coat. Voila!"

Julie recommends the following red, white and blue shades: Blanc from Essie (SRP: $8 from Essie.com), Vodka & Cavier (red) from OPI (SRP: $9.50 at Amazon.com) and Blagger (blue) from Butter London (SRP: $14 at ButterLondon.com).

True, true, I'm sure there's a political payoff/payback here somewhere.
