Frugal Friday: Jewelry Bling

Under $25 jewelry bling.

For today’s Frugal Friday, I found not one, but two great jewelry pieces for under $25.

Forever 21’s Filigree Cuff features a gorgeous combination of turquoise and gold. I love its versatility: you can easily wear this pretty to the office, as well as for a night on the town. It’s lightweight, and includes a velveteen backing and shiny finish. For $6.80, you’ll want to grab it in the orange and gold color combination too. Find it at Forever 21 stores in Hicksville and Massapequa.

Next up is Red Dress Boutique’s Very Important Date Pocket Watch Necklace.  Of course, this one fondly reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, but I also love its charm.  Made with an antique brass finish, this statement piece includes a pocket watch pendant on a classic cable chain. Now you’ll never be late again and look stylish all at the same time! Visit RedDressBoutique.com to snatch this one up for $18.

$20 million of the $40 million will be spent on adding a pocket track, presumably east ofRead More Massapequa. Currently, trains are reversed east of the Wantagh interlocking, and while the engineer walks through the train, it blocks the track. This addition of a "pocket track" will probably also help Wantagh commuters some times, just as an emergency pull-over space on the LIE helps.

True, true, I'm sure there's a political payoff/payback here somewhere.

A tantalizing, mind-teasing story about a faceless team with no names who won honorable mention forRead More some project about which we learned absolutely nothing from this article. Journalism 101: Who what, why when and where?
