Memorial Day Parades to be Held in Wantagh-Seaford
Both communities will be honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country Monday morning.
Wantagh and Seaford will be honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country this Monday with Memorial Day parades.
The Wantagh Memorial Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Beltagh Avenue and will proceed south on Wantagh Avenue. The parade will conclude at the Wantagh American Legion Post No. 1273 Hall on 3484 Park Ave. and be followed by a ceremony.
The Seaford Memorial Day Parade will begin next to Seaford Cinemas and proceed north on Washington Avenue before ending at Seaford Middle School. After a post-parade ceremony at the middle school, the public is invited to Seaford American Legion Post No. 1132 Hall on 2301 Penatiquit Ave. for hot dogs.
