Seaford Woman Named County's New Director of Office for the Aging

Victoria Meyerhoefer was appointed the county role last week.

Seaford resident Victoria Meyerhoefe was appointed as Nassau County's director of Office for the Aging.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced Meyerhoefer's new role on Friday.

“We are pleased to welcome Victoria Meyerhoefer to her new position,” Mangano said.  “Victoria will further the office’s goals and objectives and will also foster new relationships with agencies that can bring additional services to our older citizens.” 


Meyerhoefer, a graduate of  has been with Nassau County for 25 years. She has worked at the Nassau County Office of Behavioral Health as a vocational and employment counselor for 12 years.

Office for the Aging is responsible for advising the county executive and government officials on the problems and needs of the county's 289,000 residents that are 60 and over. It provides more than 70 programs in the areas of health, counseling, employment, legal services, home care, transportation and nutrition for seniors.
