Voting at Wantagh Elementary

I just voted at the Wantagh Elementary School. The "booths" were crowded together and were all occupied with people marking their ballots. There was no indication of where to wait for an open "booth" and, consequently, I wound up with a very tall man standing right behind me when I was completing my ballot. At 5'7", I am pretty tall myself, but this was rather annoying and could be intimidating to some shorter people. I mentioned it at the information desk on my way out and politely suggested that the booths be moved a little further apart or a line be established. Instead of addressing my concerns, the woman at the desk very officiously said that it was impossible for anyone to see over any voter's shoulder and dismissed my concerns!! On the way out a neighbor commented that she had never seen the room set up so poorly. This looked like a scene from voting in the early 20th century only there was less privacy today than there was then!
